Three points of contact on the floor provides an exceptionally stable, no wobble table. Three Prong Tripod Table Bases are best for round tops.  Use for triangular and special shaped tops too. Tripod Table Bases can be used for SMALL squares also but are not generally recommended for square or rectangular tops.
