Our Schoolhouse Chairs are made of Oak or Maple wood species. The Tablet Arm is made of birch wood species to provide a smooth, hard writing surface.
Crafted for comfort and durability, this chair features a 1" thick saddled seat with a rounded front edge. The steam-bent top and lower cross backs are double-doweled for added stability. Vertical slats are precision-fit into the cross backs for ergonomic support. Tapered front legs and steam-bent back legs ensure a sturdy foundation, reinforced with H-style stretchers and additional braces. Rounded corners and edges, along with glued and screwed corner blocks, provide long-lasting strength and a polished finish. Perfect for both function and style.
Tablet arm provides a writing surface for use in classrooms and business applications.
Tablet Arm writing surface dimensions approx. 11" X 11.5" with a 11" X 17" Tablet Arm available.
Wood or Upholstered Seat Options Available, either graded-in or Customer's Own Material (COM), with or without Nailhead trim.
